Wild Greek Christmas Honey Balls – Melomakarona

Ingredients
Liquid:
25 g olive oil
25 g Sesame Oil
100 g Almond Butter
120 g Wild Flower Honey from Mount Olympus
Solid:
260 g oat flour
180 g Roasted Almonds
1 tbsp Orange zest
1/2 tsp ground clove
1 tsp cinnamon
For the garnish:
2 tbsp Wild Flower Honey from Mount Olympus
1/2 cup finely chopped Walnuts
Instructions
- Place all dry ingredients in a blender and blend until flour texture is achieved.
- Place the “flour” in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
- Mix until you have a flexible dough.
- Start moulding into small balls of around 30 gr.
- As soon as all the balls are moulded, drizzle some honey and ground walnuts.
- They can be preserved in room temperature for a week and refrigerated for 10 days.
