100 g Tahini
Juice from 1/2 lemon
4 tbsp Sesame Oil
6 tbsp cold water


100 g chickpeas
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1 spring onion, finely chopped
1 medium carrot, cut in cubes
2 tbsp caper flowers

For the topping:



  1. Soak the chickpeas overnight with 1 tsp of baking soda.
  2. The next day, drain and wash them.
  3. Boil them until soft (45 min-1 hour)
  4. Mash chickpeas with a fork, until pureed.
  5. Finely chop the onion, carrot and caper.
  6. Add remaining ingredients except the carrot and onion and mix.
  7. Last but not least, add the carrot cubes and onion and combine.

It’s the perfect stuffing for your sandwich!
